First Commerce Credit Union is hiring a Business Services Executive to support and grow our business member relationships across the Tallahassee community. This role is ideal for a driven commercial banking professional who thrives on relationship development, community engagement, and delivering financial solutions that make a meaningful impact.

About the Role

As a Business Services Executive, you will serve as a trusted partner to local businesses, professional associations, and entrepreneurs. You'll be responsible for generating new business relationships, expanding existing portfolios, and coaching frontline teams to uncover opportunities and deliver exceptional member service. This position plays a key role in advancing First Commerce's vision of Empowering Generations, Transforming Communities.

What You'll Be Doing

• Build and grow commercial relationships through proactive business development, networking, and referrals
• Develop and manage a portfolio of business members by identifying needs and recommending deposit, lending, and convenience solutions
• Cross-sell personal and business products to capture the full financial relationship
• Coach and mentor Financial Center Managers, Commercial Services Specialists, and Financial Services Officers to increase confidence and effectiveness with business members
• Handle or oversee business credit applications and support sound underwriting practices
• Collaborate with financial center teams to improve retention, growth, and overall relationship profitability
• Represent First Commerce at community and business events throughout the Tallahassee area

What You Bring to the Table

• Proven self-starter with strong relationship-building and business development skills
• Confident communicator with a consultative, member-focused approach
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management abilities
• Ability to influence, advise, and partner effectively with both members and internal teams

Qualifications

• 5+ years of successful commercial banking, credit union, or commercial lending experience
• 2+ years of experience as a Personal Banker, Financial Services Officer, Member Services Officer, or Financial Center/Services Manager
• Strong knowledge of commercial products, underwriting, and financial services regulations
• Bachelor's degree preferred (Business, Finance, Sales, Marketing, or related field; advanced degrees a plus)
